Mission Statement

We are fully committed to provide excellent care to patients and their families at the end of their life’s journey. We offer optimal support to the patient’s families, caregivers and friends. Our capable, caring and compassionate (3 C’s) staffs will ensure that the patient is pain free and comfortable as possible.

Our Company

AMERICUS HOSPICE, INC. is a provider of hospice care in Simi Valley, California and the counties of Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino. We offer innovative solutions that aim to assist patients to be as comfortable as possible throughout their end-of-life journey. Our staffs focus on managing the signs and symptoms of the disease, most especially pain while providing support to their families, friends and caregivers. Our hospice team will work with your doctors to make sure that you achieve a higher quality of life while we are taking care of you.

What makes you eligible for hospice care?

  • It is based on the judgment of the patient’s primary care physician and hospice care director
  • The patient’s primary care physician authorizes them to receive hospice care
  • The focus of treatment is now on the emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort of the patient instead of curative methods

Who pays for hospice care?

  • Medicaid
  • Medicare
  • Health Insurance Provider
  • HMO’s

Individuals can privately pay for hospice care if they don’t qualify for other forms of funding.
